La Biblia Reina Valera Antigua - A Comprehensive Spanish Bible

La Biblia Reina Valera Antigua is a comprehensive Spanish Bible that was first translated and published in 1569 by Casiodoro de Reina in Basel, Switzerland. It is based on the original Greek and Hebrew texts and includes the deuterocanonical books of the Old Testament.

This popular and widely used Spanish Bible underwent its first editorial revision in 1602 by Cipriano de Valera, who dedicated over twenty years of his life to these revisions and improvements. Subsequent revisions in 1862, 1909, 1960, and 1995 started to omit the apocryphal books and introduced a more modern language translation.
